Alex and Casey | New Hampshire Winter Engagement Session
While I realize this post is seriously delayed (in fact, I managed to blog Alex’s sister Piper’s wedding before getting out this post!) I have really been wanting to share this engagement session. I love that Alex and Casey were up for winter engagement photos and Alex had the perfect spot, smack dab in the forest near her parent’s house. We had everything I love, a brook, evergreens, snow, and gray skies (it was seriously dark in there, but with little leaf coverage and snow to reflect some of the light we managed just fine). Alex and Casey were so much fun to work with and much like myself, weren’t terribly comfortable in front of the camera (which is another reason I include and push for these sessions, it allows us to work together before the big day and eases a lot of anxieties anyone might have about the portrait session of the day – you learn what to expect from being on that side of the camera and I learn some stuff about how to guide you, because every person and every couple is different). We had a lot of fun and while we didn’t spend a ton of time out there we managed to get some very sweet images. I absolutely cannot wait until their wedding day this fall in Sugar Hill!
