Michelle and Copeland Expecting | New Hampshire Maternity Session
I’m not sure how it happens really (well, I suppose a lot of referrals from past clients to co-workers and nursing school classmates), but I photograph a large number of nurses. I love it – my time in the medical field may have been short once I decided I needed to take a big risk and leap towards a less secure dream, but it was an experience I will always treasure. I feel like I can connect a little bit more to clients when we have something like that in common. That and Michelle’s fiance Copeland is a career firefighter and A-EMT (and he’s currently in medic school – a very busy soon-to-be dad!). Whenever I get to photograph FF families and couples I get pretty excited to chat with other people about the lifestyle. It isn’t one that is always easily understood as it is full of chaos. So we walked around, snapped photos, and talked about that and all the fun things that come with pregnancy, labor, and delivery. When I last heard from Michelle a little over a week ago baby girl had not yet arrived. I am hoping for a smooth delivery and for everyone to be healthy and happy!
